Summer Camp

The camp experience enriches lives and can change the world. Camp provides children with a community of caring adults, who nurture an environment that results in self-respect and appreciation for human value. Camp promotes healthy development, builds lifelong friendships and campers learn they can exceed their own expectations and discover who they are and what they can.
Family Camp Weekend is a time for the entire family to experience traditional summer camp activities and to be campers together! Families live in our rustic cabins and lodges, enjoy delicious meals in our dining hall, and participate in camp activities facilitated by our talented summer staff.

Whether you are experiencing Family Camp for the first time or have been coming for years, it is always a wonderful opportunity for your family to enjoy each other’s company and to make new friends.
It’s up to you how you spend your days at Family Camp. Some family members may choose to do as many activities as they can pack into the weekend, while others may choose to lounge on the beach of Lake Stockwell or enjoy some free time on their own. Our staff will be on hand to run activities including swimming, archery, creative arts, campfire program, boating, air riflery, Earth Education activities, and horseback riding.

The YMCA Camps of Medford is proud to be the setting for the Ockanickon 5K Run to benefit campers, families and the community. For more than 100 years, the YMCA has served the community through a wide variety of programs promoting friendships, positive self-esteem and healthy development. The Ockanickon 5K Run will help us raise money for campers and families who need financial assistance to attend the camp’s summer and year-round programs.
The 5K course is a beginner level course made up of sugar-sand roads and single track trails with a few small rolling hills. The backdrop of the camp forest and lakes offers a wonderful outdoor running experience. Whether you are a seasoned runner or first-timer, join us for this exciting and fun event!
